Bernie & Phyl’s Sets Parenting Workshops for Customers

By Home Furnishings Business in Furniture Retailing on June 2008 Bernie & Phil’s, Norton, Mass., will host six free parenting workshops hosted by “Nanny 911” star Nanny Yvonne at its Braintree, Mass., store, Saturday, June 21.

The half-hour workshop sessions, “School’s Out! How to Make a Smooth Transition to Summer Fun,” are set to begin at 1 p.m., with the last session ending at 3:30 p.m. Participation is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Parents also can register to win a free in-home consultation with Nanny Yvonne, which will be taped for her new show. Bernie & Phyl’s Furniture will give away $25 gift certificates to every family that registers in the Braintree store the day of the event.
