Julian Lighting Honored by Met Home

By Home Furnishings Business in Accessories on May 2008 A pendant lamp designed by Alexander and Megan Julian for Frederick Cooper has been recognized in Metropolitan Home magazine’s annual Year’s Best Design 100 showcase.

For the June issue, the MH editors honor distinctive architecture, interior décor, home furnishings and gadgets.

The award-winning pendant is a reductivist take on one of the Julians’ favorite textile patterns, and made in hand-cut brass with a rich bronze finish. The white linen drum shade provides texture to an otherwise sleek silhouette.

The Julians also have a furniture license with Vaughan-Bassett that debuted during the April High Point Market.
