Gordon's Furniture Relocates in Thomasville, N.C.

Gordon's Furniture in Thomasville, N.C., has consolidated its operation into a new, 17,000-square-foot location, the Lexington Dispatch reported Tuesday.

Owner David Gordon said in the report that while the square footage is about the same as before, the prior location was in four separate buildings, and the new location will be more convenient for customers.

The new Gordon's location is in the former Holton Furniture building, which had been vacant since closing several years ago.

"We have a lot of confidence in Davidson County and our economy," Gordon told the paper. "We've seen hard times and good times, and the hard times just make you appreciate the good times."

Gordon also owns the promotional retailer Bargain Furniture, also in Thomasville.
