Furniture Outlets USA, Sioux Falls, S.D.; and Grand Home Furnishings, Roanoke, Va., have selected RedPrairie Corp.’s Warehouse Management Solution to improve inventory accuracy, labor productivity and decrease overall distribution costs.
Furniture Outlets USA operates 24 carpet and furniture stores in four states; and Grand Home Furnishings has 16 stores in 14 cities and towns throughout Western and Central Virginia, East Tennessee and the eastern part of West Virginia.
“Furniture Outlets USA’s strategy has always been to sell products at a lower cost, promote a high level of customer service, attract and retain the best employees possible and utilize state-of-the-art inventory and information technology. RedPrairie is helping us stay true to that goal,” said Gordy Wallenstein, president of Furniture Outlets USA.
“We chose RedPrairie because of their track record in the home furnishings industry. No other leading supply chain solution provider has so many successful implementations in our marketplace. RedPrairie’s technology will help us make immediate gains and will also position us for future growth,” said Barry Thornton, CIO for Grand Home Furnishings.
RedPrairie is based in Milwaukee.
