MGM Transport Names Tennen Northeast Regional Sales Manager

By Home Furnishings Business in on November 2007 MGM Transport Corp., a High Point-based division of the Furniture Transport Group, has named Larry Tennen northeast regional sales manager.

Tennen began his career in the furniture industry upon graduation from the University of Vermont when he joined his family’s business, a furniture store in Newark, N.J. He then began a 30-year career as a self-employed furniture sales executive, representing various furniture manufacturers including Thomasville, Bernhardt, American Drew and Blackhawk & Singer in the New York/New Jersey region. 

“With his knowledge of our industry and his outgoing personality, I am confident Larry will be a great asset to our organization,” said Louis Massood, executive vice president at MGM Transport.
