McMahan Named VP, GM at WAC Lighting

WAC Lighting, Garden City, N.Y., has named James McMahan general manager and vice president.

McMahan's initial responsibilities include overseeing the company's marketing department, and he is scheduled to manage business operations company-wide by the end of the year.

For the past 21 years Mr. McMahan worked for Schonbek Lighting Worldwide, where his positions included director of marketing communications, chief financial officer, and director of sales and marketing.

"Jim is an intelligent, methodical, and caring executive," said President Shelley Wang. "I am confident that his wide experience in various disciplines and his reputation for dedication will help us grow our business.
