Web Surfing Leads to Arrest

By Home Furnishings Business in Furniture Retailing on March 22, 2010

A teenager's urge to surf the Internet led to his arrest in a furniture store burglary in Kennewick, Wash., WNYW reported Friday.

The 17-year-old broke into Bella Office Furniture, and then used the store's computer to surf porn sites and make sales pitches for stolen items on his MySpace account.

His activities created an electronic trail that led police to arrest him for the burglary. The teenager confessed to the crime after his arrest.
