Macy’s Opening Furniture Clearance Center

Macy’s will open a furniture clearance store in Aurora, Ill., later this year.
In addition, the department store is building a new distribution center in Minooka, Ill., to replace its existing center in Chicago, which will be closed in the spring. The company currently operates a clearance center at its Chicago distribution center.
According to the
Chicago Sun-Times, the new clearance store will employ 10 people. The new distribution center will employ 150 full-time and 60 part-time workers.
