Furniture Forum To Showcase Retail Expert Paco Underhill

By Home Furnishings Business in Furniture Retailing on June 2007 Noted retail guru Paco Underhill will be the keynote speaker for this summer’s Future Furniture Forum at Lenoir-Rhyne College in Hickory, N.C.

The event, sponsored by the Furniture Foundation, Home Furnishings Business and the college, is scheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 28 at 2:30 p.m. The forum is a followup to the successful event in February on challenges facing the furniture industry.

Created for retailers, manufacturers and importers, the forum is to inform and stimulate attendees by taking a complete look at the retail customer shopping experience and supply chain.

In addition to Underhill, a retail panel discussion will be held, and a number of seminars and workshops will be open for attendees throughout the day.
