High Point Announces Golden Ticket Promotion

By Home Furnishings Business in High Point on June 2007 The High Point Market Authority is kicking off pre-registration for the Fall Market with a “Golden Ticket” promotion that will award free hotel stays to 10 winning retailers.

Brian Casey, Market Authority president and CEO, said the contest is tied to a new ad campaign with the theme, “The Premier Market For World Premieres.”

“Each advertisement in the series is marked by a blue admission ticket bearing the number 10.01.07—Fall Market’s official opening date—and a larger version of the blue admission ticket appears in a direct mail piece currently on its way to thousands of retailers and designers across the country,” Casey said Thursday. “But take note: Hidden somewhere inside the thousands of envelopes are ten gold tickets and each gold ticket entitles the recipient to five free nights at the Sheraton Greensboro Four Seasons during Market week.”

High Point’s Fall Market is scheduled for Oct. 1 to Oct. 7.
