Upholstery specialist Paladin Inds. is moving its High Point Market Showroom to Market Square.
The 8-year-old company, founded by Tim and Elaine Bolick, had been housed in an independent showroom on Wrenn Street. The new, 14,000-square-foot showroom is space 240 of Market Square.
"The character and ambience of the historic Market Square building along with the tremendous amount of improvements and additions was the deciding factor in moving to Market Square," said Tim Bolick, president. "You simply cannot construct the feel and character of this building in any other space. Our upholstery will absolutely show better and with the increased traffic flow from retailers will certainly be a plus for us going forward and growing our business."
In 2006, the Hiddenite, N.C.-based company was recognized by Inc. magazine as one of the fastest growing companies in the U.S. ranking in 59th place.
