Pop-Up Concept Comes to Greenville, S.C.

The Canny Rooster has begun "pop-up" furniture retailing in Greenville, S.C., the Greenville News reported Tuesday.

The business will sell merchandise three times a year for 30 days at a time at different locations, is currently holding its first sales event.

Marcia Boyle, president of Parker Robinson LLC, which owns The Canny Roster, and her husband, Mike, owned and operated Parker Robinson, a luxury retailer in Sarasota, Fla., before selling the business two years ago. After moving to Greenville and a break from retailing, they're back in the business.

Canny Rooster: A Clever Collection of Home Furnishings will sell items the Boyles find through their own shopping for a changing look.

The first sales event ends March 31.
