Help1Up, Furniture Bank to Honor Supporters at HP Market

By Home Furnishings Business in High Point on March 2007 Help1Up will host an awards breakfast Thursday of High Point Market to inform the home furnishings industry about its efforts to build awareness and sponsorship of nationwide furniture banks administered through the National Furniture Bank Association.

Help1Up has gathered unified industry endorsement as a completely free, socially responsible and environment-friendly used-furniture removal service.

The event is scheduled for March 29, 7:30-8:15 a.m., in ballroom A of the International Home Furnishings Center. Admission is open to badge-holders for the High Point Market.

The breakfast will feature the first annual National Furniture Bank Association’s awards. Awards will be given to supporting companies and/or individuals for the Retailer of the Year, Manufacturer of the Year, and the Helping Hero of the Year.

NFBA also will honor the Help1Up Founding Pillars, industry sponsors, and the Help1Up endorsing industry associations.
