Kalaty Announces Burrell Rug License

By Home Furnishings Business in High Point on March 2007 Paul Burrell, former personal attendant to the Queen of England, butler to the Prince and Princess of Wales, and personal assistant to the late Princess Diana, has a new licensed a collection of rugs with Kalaty Rug Corp. to complement the 60-plus piece furniture collection Highland House will introduce at the upcoming High Point market.

Kalaty will introduce around 15 Paul Burrell-inspired rugs in High Point, with a larger introduction to follow at the Atlanta Market in July. The new collection, Royal Manner: The Rug Collection, will be displayed in High Point at the Highland House showroom, Space 414 in Market Square, alongside the new furniture collection, Royal Manner: The English Country House.

The Kalaty collection includes a range of classic, traditional rug patterns and colorations in 100 percent premium hand-spun, hand-knotted wool. The first rugs are mostly simple, overall patterns that evoke the relaxed elegance indigenous to fine English country homes. The initial collection direction includes traditional European and Middle Eastern rugs in colorations and patterns that easily mix and match within any number of elegant, traditional décors and lifestyles.
