Tommy Bahama Achieves Half-Billion Mark

By Home Furnishings Business in on March 2007 Lexington Home Brands announced Thursday that its Tommy Bahama Collection has achieved a major milestone by generating more than $500 million in sales since its debut in 2000.

The company plans to celebrate the feat throughout the upcoming High Point Market, which begins March 26.

“We’re incredibly proud of the longevity and success of the Tommy Bahama brand,” said Lexington President and CEO Phil Haney. “In fact, it has spawned a lot of similar looks in the marketplace. But only Lexington Home Brands has the original Tommy Bahama Collection ... We’re celebrating the brand’s success and reminding dealers of why it is the trendsetter by placing the spotlight on the original collection this market.”

Tommy Bahama, established in 1992, is a lifestyle company that produces men’s and women’s sportswear, swimwear, accessories and home furnishings.
