Former Ethan Allen President Dies

By Home Furnishings Business in on January 2007 Clint Walker, former president of Ethan Allen Interiors, has died. He was 89.

Walker joined Ethan Allen in 1947 and was named president in 1978. He retired from the company in 1987.

“It is with sadness and cherished remberances that we make this announcement,” said Farooq Kathwari, chairman and chief executive officer of Ethan Allen. “Clint was a friend and advisor to many throughout the Ethan Allen network. Clint retired from Ethan Allen in 1987, but continued to be a close friend and respected advisor. On behalf of all of my colleagues, I would like to extend our sincere condolences to his family.”

Services for Walker are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday at the St. Philip’s In The Hills Episcopal Church in Tucson, Ariz.
