Chromcraft Taps Quixote Group

By Home Furnishings Business in Case Goods on January 2007 Full-line manufacturer and importer Chromcraft Revington announced Tuesday that it has named Greensboro, N.C.-based marketing, public relations and market research firm Quixote Group its agency of record.

Quixote’s resume includes the launch of the new Build-A-Bear Workshop Home Youth Collection; and the consumer introduction of Casa Cristina, a Euro-Mediterranean furniture collection inspired by the savvy lifestyle of Cristina Saralegui; and the reintroduction of the Keepsakes brand, all at Pulaski Furniture Corp.

In addition to public relations counsel, Quixote Group will provide strategic branding, market research, event planning and marketing communications support to Chromcraft Revington and its five operating companies, which include Chromcraft, Cochrane Furniture, Sumter, Silver and Peters-Revington.

“Quixote Group brings proven experience and the broad range of skills and backgrounds we need to work with our leadership team and grow our business,” said David Corbin, senior vice president at Chromcraft Revington. “Their innovative approaches to communications and consumer research bring fresh ideas and will help us to stay close to the consumer as we expand our strengths in customized, built-to-order products that are enhanced by the company’s global supply chain capabilities.”

“After interviewing several firms, we believe that Quixote Group is the best strategic fit for us as we drive the transformation of the Company forward and shift our focus to be more market driven and responsive to both consumers and customers,” said Chromcraft Revington Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Ben Anderson-Ray.
