Sitler to Run Lexington Global Sourcing

By Home Furnishings Business in on October 2006 Robert Sitler has joined full-line vendor Lexington Home Brands in the new position of vice president of global sourcing. He reports to President and Chief Executive Officer Phil Haney.

Prior to joining Lexington Home Brands, Sitler held several executive level positions at Stanley Furniture Co., including responsibilities for global sourcing, manufacturing, operations and logistics.

“Bob brings to Lexington extensive experience in the Asian region,” Haney said. “His wealth of industry and sourcing knowledge is an excellent complement to our already talented global sourcing staff.”

Haney added that Charles Aurich, Jeff Hunt and the rest of the company’s global sourcing team will work closely under Sitler’s direction as LHB “looks to increase our presence in this important segment of our business.”
