FurnitureFan Sends 10 Millionth Customer Shopping

By Home Furnishings Business in Retail Technology on October 2006 FurnitureFan reached a milestone last month when it referred the 10 millionth customer into a furniture retail store for a purchase.

The company, a division of Impact Consulting Services, hosts the online directory FurnitureFan.com.

At about 11 a.m. Sept. 30 in Phoenix, a consumer looking for bedroom furniture walked into a store after being referred from the Web site.

FurnitureFan, which has been a directory for consumers on the Internet since 1999, now sees on average 26,000 consumers per day, and refers nearly 12,000 consumers a day to home furnishings retailers.
