Conn's 4th-Quarter Sales Down 30.3%

Conn's Inc. (NASDAQ/NM:CONN), a Beaumont, Texas-based retailer of consumer electronics, home appliances, furniture, mattresses, computers and lawn and garden products, announced that net sales for its fourth quarter ended Jan. 31 fell 30.3 percent to $171 million.

Same-store sales for the period were down 31.7 percent. Sales of furniture and mattresses were off 25.9 percent to $14.9 million.

For the fiscal year ended January 31, same store sales fell 13.8 percent, and net sales fell 10.2 percent to $722.8 million.
