Las Vegas Tweaks Winter Market Dates

The start of the Las Vegas Furniture Market will move up a day to kick off on a Sunday for the Winter 2014 edition.
In a short announcement, officials with International Market Centers, owner of the Market's venue, World Market Center Las Vegas, said next year's Winter show will run Jan. 26-Jan. 30, still ending on a Thursday.
After careful consideration of the feedback we received from buyers and exhibitors as to the best way to deliver a truly exceptional Las Vegas Market experience, we are adjusting the Market dates to comprise a weekend day while ending on a Thursday to accommodate optimal Friday return travel, said International Market Centers President and Chief Executive Officer Robert Maricich.
In addition, the selected Market week continues to overlap with Surfaces, the floor coverings industrys leading trade event, which runs Jan. 27-30 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center.
