Tepperman's Takes Business Excellence Award

Ontario furniture retailer Tepperman's has received a 2013 Business Excellence Award in Windsor.
President Andrew Tepperman accepted this years award as "Large Company of the Year Winner" Wednesday at the Ciociaro Club for Tepperman's, which along with Windsor, has stores in Chatham, Sarnia and London, Ontario.
In addition, Teppermans was nominated for Large Business of the Year in Sarnia and London. The company also was named "Best Furniture Store in London," chosen by the London Free Press newspaper readership and the Chatham Daily News.
The family-owned business is in its third generation and just celebrated 88 years in Windsor. Community initiatives include the Canadian Scholarship Trust Fund where the store has donated more than $550,000; United Way, Heart and Strokes Big Bike Ride, Movember, Terry Fox Run, Habitat Builds and The Holiday Train.
