Oak Design Moving to New Plaza Suites Showroom

By Home Furnishings Business in Case Goods on April 5, 2013

Bedroom and occasional furniture vendor Oak Design will move to a new showroom in Plaza Suites for April High Point Furniture Market.

Oak Design will exhibit in a 912-square-foot showroom in Space 1-599 of Plaza Suites. The company previously showed in a temporary showroom in the Suites at Market Square.

€œOur new Plaza Suites showroom is centrally located for the types of retailers we€™re trying to reach,€ said Ismael Castellanos, owner and president. €œThis building is an active destination for retailers looking for medium- to upper-medium-priced case goods and occasional furniture.€

Known for its quality master bedroom, youth bedroom, and occasional and entertainment furniture, Oak Design is introducing a variety of new products at the spring market. In bedroom, its introductions include a low-pier bedroom set in oak and alder finishes. The group includes bedside lingerie chests with lift tops for storage.

In addition, Oak Design is featuring a new TV console collection called Pacific Urban.

Oak Design produces all of its collections at its 80,000-square-foot corporate headquarters in Chino, Calif. The family owned and operated company was founded in 1986.

€œIn the past year, we€™ve opened a tremendous amount of new dealers," Castellanos said. "They like the fact that our product is made in California by American hands.€

€œOak Design adds another strong source to the Plaza Suites lineup,€ said Julie Messner, vice president of leasing for International Market Centers. €œWe€™re excited that they€™ve made the commitment to a new showroom in High Point.€
