GE Capital Retail Bank and American Signature have signed a multi-year relationship to provide consumer credit card services through the home furnishings retailer's 126 American Signature Furniture and Value City Furniture locations across the U.S.

"GE Capital's longevity in the industry and expertise in providing consumer financing programs make them the right choice for our stores and customers," said Ed Cornell, executive vice president and chief financial officer for American Signature Furniture. "We're pleased to work with them to build our business and provide home furnishing shoppers with promotional financing offers."

American Signature family of furniture companies spans across 126 U.S. locations, offering a full range of furnishings and accessories for the entire home, including living room, bedroom, dining room, kids and home office. The private label consumer credit card program includes the American Signature Furniture and Value City Furniture credit cards, and provides exclusive savings events and opportunities, access to online account management, and extended terms and special financing promotions.

"American Signature is a leading furnishings retailer well-known for its history of dedication and service to its customers," said Paul Schell, general manager, GE Capital's Retail Finance business. "We look forward to working with them on building their sales and customer loyalty through financing."
