High Point Business Owners Angry over Furniture Tax

At least eight furniture-related companies in High Point are angry about tax assessments they say aren't accurate and threaten High Point Market exhibitors.
Now, some Guilford County commissioners are questioning why the tax department uses a private company to assess the property and how it does the job.
