The Robert Allen Design Group has named Robert Nachman vice president of marketing.
Nachman comes to his position with more than 20 years of experience building brands across the home furnishings and fashion industries. He leads the advancement of the Beacon Hill, Robert Allen, Robert Allen Contract and Robert Allen@home brands.
"Robert will play a critical role in leading the brand experience for our design clientele," said Phil Kowalczyk, CEO of Robert Allen Design Group. "His unique background in luxury consumer products and fine home furnishings brands will elevate both our branding and digital leadership. We are excited to have him as part of our team."
Nachman has held positions with a number of design and lifestyle companies including Hearst, Bloomingdale's, Steuben, and most recently the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum where he was charged with redirecting retail operations during the museum's $65 million renovation. In his new position, he will oversee the marketing team and lead its various digital, consumer, and advertising initiatives.
"Robert possesses that special combination of innate design sensibility and business savvy that makes him an exceptional addition to our marketing team," said Jennie Wilde, senior vice president of design and marketing for the company. "We are looking forward to the value and impact he will bring."
