SharperImage.com Taps New Senior VP and Chief Marketing Officer

Steve August has been named senior vice president and chief marketing officer for SharperImage.com.
In his position, August is responsible for directing all marketing efforts including online, catalog, affiliate, CRM, portals and partnerships. He also has oversight of consumer analytics and database modeling.

We are fortunate to have him as part of our team."¨¨After relaunching its Web site in October, SharperImage.com looks to expand its marketing efforts this year. In addition, the first catalog will mail in time for Father's Day with additional circulation throughout the balance of the year.
Prior to joining SharperImage.com, August spent nine years at Brookstone where he most recently served as operating vice president for customer marketing.
