New collections of gallery wrapped Giclées are some of New Orleans most prolific and renowned artists.
I have long been a fan of the fabulous artwork originating out of New Orleans, especially artist Garland Robinette," Flambeau Lighting President Joseph McKearn. "After discussing a program with him, we shared the idea with the companys Facebook fans on our brand page and the response was sensational. As a result we became extremely encouraged to launch an introductory collection from Garland first.
Flambeaus initial wall art launch will consist of up to six different Giclées from Robinettes very popular collections of hand painted originals. including The Dodger, one of McKearns favorites. Other titles from Robinette that are part of the initial launch include his Woman of the Storm, Earth, Wind & Fire, Love Song and Indian 2.
Garland Robinette, who was adopted at 4-years-old, believes that his angel has guided him and protected him for decades through early childhood and as a young man serving in Vietnam. Early careers ranged from being a janitor in a Mississippi River refinery to becoming a television news anchor to receiving his first artists portrait commission, when he was selected to paint the portrait of Pope John Paul II during the Popes one and only visit to New Orleans. Garland Robinette believes he has lived an exceptionally lucky life and sees the new collaboration with Flambeau as yet another example of his angel at work.
