Game furnishings specialist American Heritage Billiards has a new
Las Vegas Furniture Market showroom.
American Heritage will move to a 4,000-square-foot showroom in
World Market Center, space B-0818 for the Jan. 28-Feb. 1 winter market.
The market team found us a great location in a high-traffic area, and have made the whole transition very simple, said John Hoffman, vice president. The area that were in is a great fit for our product line.
American Heritage has been exhibiting at the Las Vegas Market since 2009, when it began showing in a temporary space. It has signed a three-year lease on its new showroom, which has been remodeled for the winter market with new floors, paint and lighting.
Located in Streetsboro, Ohio, where it has a 175,000-square-foot facility, American Heritage Billiards produces more than 200 different barstools that cover the a wide range of retail price points, with an emphasis in the $199 to $399 category. Along with pool tables and barstools, its line includes gathering tables, home bars, bar mirrors, pub sets and accent pieces. In addition, it offers the Renaissance collection of fully customizable furnishings, with hundreds of finish, fabric, wood and tacking combinations. The company is known for its traditional and transitional styling.
At the winter Las Vegas Market, American Heritage plans to introduce several new home bar and barstool models designed to quick ship within 72 hours.
We ship our products when the retailers sell them, said Hoffman. They dont have to carry any inventory and can focus their efforts on merchandising and selling.
As a result of its showings at the Las Vegas Market, American Heritage Billiards has broadened its account base to include conventional, full-line furniture stores as well as online retailers. The company also has expanded its business with designers and decorators.
When the economy softened five years ago, we recognized that we needed to reach out to new channels of distribution, said Hoffman. The Las Vegas Market has proven to be a very successful vehicle for expanding our presence within the retail and design communities. We select our partners carefully and protect our pricing, so that everybody can make a good margin.
