Specialty mattress maker Zedbed will open a permanent World Market Center showroom for the Jan. 28-Feb. 1 Las Vegas Furniture Market.
Zedbed will be in space 1556 of Building C, located amongst other mattress manufacturers and the Speciality Sleep Association. The Canadian-based company produces a range of eco-friendly therapeutic memory foam mattresses. Zedbed, one of the few specialty mattress manufacturers to pour its own foam in North America, wants to become a national player throughout its home country and a recognized name in the United States.
"The opening of this new showroom is one of several initiatives through which we continue our methodical growth in North-America," said Marketing Vice President David Gelinas. "We are pursuing independent furniture retailers; top 100 retailers, small- to medium-size bedding chains and independent sleep shops, in both countries, which are looking for products exclusivities and an alternative to compete with the big guys."
The new showroom will showcase the entire Zedbed product line, which includes mattresses, lifestyle adjustable beds, headboards, pillows and protectors.
"Were also excited to be exhibiting our new state-of-the-art Gelplus technology, our unique ZedFlex support system and our refreshed brand identity," Gelinas said.
Founded 18 years ago by the Gelinas family, Zedbed manufactures and distributes mattresses and pillows made from its proprietary pressure-relieving material formulation. Zedbed is committed to developing and manufacturing high end products with high style that are the most environmentally friendly. The company's products are currently sold all across Canada and in the US. Headquarters for Zedbed are located in Shawinigan, Quebec.
