Burglary at Virginia Store

The Culpeper County, Va., Sherriff's Office is investigating a break-in last week at Amish Furniture and Gifts, the Star Exponent reported Thursday.

Suspects took a safe that included cash, checks, credit cards and other items. The safe was later recovered but the money and credit cards were gone.

"I was actually up in Pennsylvania picking up furniture," Owner Tim Swetman said in the report, who received a phone call alerting him to the break-in.
