MacLean Named COO at Jamison Bedding

Rick MacLean, CFO of Jamison Bedding, has been promoted to the new dual executive position of CFO and COO of the company.
The appointment expands MacLeans responsibilities to include overall strategic planning and development of the organization, with emphasis on Jamisons marketing, sales and manufacturing functions. McLean continues to report to Frank Gorrell, president of Jamison Bedding, Brentwood, Tenn.
Ricks expansive knowledge and experience have been instrumental over the past few years in moving forward the Jamison brand and business, said Gorrell. His principle-based management skills will become even more important to our success as we continue to evolve the organization and implement our strategic objectives.
Before joining Jamison in 2008 as CFO, MacLean had worked in finance and operations at a diverse number of firms including Hartmann, a Lebanon, Tenn.-based producer of luxury travel goods, and most recently at McKesson Corp., an international pharmaceutical distributor and health care IT company.
Jamison Bedding operates a mattress factory in Gallatin, Tenn., and serves more than 400 retailers in the southeast U.S. and major hotels and resorts worldwide.
