Luonto Furniture Expands by 50% in High Point

Upholstered furniture vendor Luonto Furniture will move to a new, larger showroom for High Point Furniture Market.
The new showroom, space 306 in the 220 Elm Building(http://220elm.com/), gives Luonto 50 percent more space, and places it in a building with more than 70 exhibitors, such as Palliser Furniture, W. Schillig, and Home Meridian International, many in the contemporary category.
"As far as the location, it is in a prime area where contemporary buyers are already shopping the building," said Chuck Rudwall, president & CEO. "We felt it would be a great fit as we grow as a company and expand our product line."
Luonto Furniture, a division of Pohjanmaan Kaluste Oy, Scandinavias largest upholstery manufacturer, has exhibited in High Point Market since 2011. It has a local stocking warehouse in Greensboro, N.C., and permanent customer service offices in the United States.
