Stoney Creek Furniture, Stoney Creek, Ontario, has promoted Lori Negrinotti to merchandise manager.
Negrinotti has worked in a variety of roles during her 20-plus years at Stoney Creek Furniture.
In her new position, she is responsible for overseeing the buying function at Stoney Creek Furniture and ensuring that the retailer maintains the appropriate mix of styles, colours and price points in its merchandising mix. Negrinotti will review and approve the buying teams selections and recommendations and work with the visual team to ensure proper product placement within the showroom.
Negrinotti joined Stoney Creek Furniture in 1990 after graduating with a major in Residential Interior Design from Fanshawe college. She started as a sales consultant before moving into sales management. Later joining the buying team, her expertise in textiles has made Stoney Creek Furniture the place to buy upholstery. She is also actively involved with the advertising team.
Negrinotti attributes much of what she has learned in merchandising to some of the best mentoring in the Home Furnishing Industry. She is an active WithIt member.
"While Lori has been practically performing these roles recently, please join me in congratulating her on officially assuming this position at Stoney Creek Furniture," said Jim Fee, vice president at Stoney Creek Furniture.
