Salon Adds 22 Exhibitors

Salon at Market Square & Suites will feature 22 new exhibitors for the Oct. 13-18 High Point Furniture Market.

This market, Salon's  ground floor displays have been expanded with a mezzanine level on the second floor. The new upstairs area is easily accessed by an escalator located in the center of Salon, just behind Market Square Café/Starbucks.
 
€œSalon provides the ultimate showcase for creative, fashion-forward furnishings across a wide range of styles and categories,€ said Julie Messner, vice president of leasing for International Market Centers. €œIf you are a retailer or designer searching for new products and fresh ideas, you should not leave market without seeing all that Salon has to offer.€
 
The momentum of the Salon area keeps growing every market, Messner said, adding €œthe highly eclectic mix of products is stronger than ever.€
 
Launched in April 2010, Salon is a presentation of masterfully designed furnishings presented in a curated environment. This market, Salon features a total of 57 exhibitors, offering a comprehensive selection of furniture, lighting, rugs, wall art, home textiles and decorative accessories.

The 22 new exhibitors include:
* Bambrella: wooden outdoor parasols made from strong, sustainable, laminated Moso bamboo strips in sleek, modern designs.
* Ben Ham Images: fine art landscape photography, including images of the Lowcountry, Rockies, Southwest and wine country of the Pacific Coast.
* Camilla House Imports: furniture, mirrors, gifts and accents, including candleholders, baskets and planters, in rattan, wrought iron and decorative wire.
* Daniel A. Saunders Studio: art and photography, including portraits, illustrations, drawings, prints and posters.
* Design Workshop Inc.: dining and occasional tables, cabinets, wall systems, stools, rolling carts, lighting and other furniture items, in wood and metal.
* Euroline Ltd.: distributor of fine Polish glass and metal décor, as well as wall art, wooden lanterns and contemporary ceramic vases sourced worldwide.
* Fortunata Inc.: hand-crafted ceramics inspired by the tradition and charm of ancient Tuscan workshops.
* French Heritage: country French and other eclecticly styled case goods and upholstery reproductions with hand-crafted quality.
* Glassisimo: high-styled, contemporary glass furnishings, including occasional, dining, office and entertainment furniture, seating, bars and lighting.
* Home Trends & Design: eco-friendly, solid-wood furniture €” including bedroom, dining room, living room and occasional €” in a range of styles.
* John Strauss Furniture Design: hand-crafted furniture inspired by the work of the Art Deco masters.
* Kim Salmela Atelier: couture collection of upholstery and case goods featuring bold colors, exotic patterns, vintage styling, modern layering and mixing of materials.
* Lisa Jarvis: The LJ Atelier Furniture Collection combines clean lines, comfort and elegance, with a twist.
* Luxe Sleep/Pandora de Balthazar: timeless European-style luxury bedding in a range of styles and constructions and a complete line of revitalizing sleep products made of hand-picked Hungarian down.

* Nativo: vases, dishes, lighting, accessories, mirrors and frames made by hand from natural materials in South America.
* Nine6: full-service design studio focused on furniture, architecture and interiors.
* Scandinavian Art Factory: original canvas paintings in a wide range of styles.
* Solaria Lighting: diverse line of specialty lighting products crafted in a distinctive, weathered European style.
* Tommy Mitchell Co.: gilded and painted tole flowers created by Tommy Mitchell, his sister Midge Mitchell and a team of local artists.
* Urban Houzz: unique, hand-crafted furniture made of domestic hardwoods, salvaged woods and imported exotic woods in styles ranging from refined-rustic to modern-urban. Custom sizes and exclusive designs available.
* Vivify Lighting: lamps made of hand-blown American glass and other top-quality materials in range of sophisticated designs.
