Hall of Fame Banquet Taking Reservations

By Home Furnishings Business in Special Events on September 18, 2012

The American Furniture Hall of Fame Foundation is accepting reservations for its 24th annual Induction Banquet, Oct. 14, at High Point Furniture Market.

Everyone is invited to attend.

€œThis will be a very special banquet as we celebrate our new Industry Fellows and induct the newest members into the Hall of Fame,€ said Randy Ford, Foundation president. €œThe Hall of Fame is the only organization that embraces the whole industry, whether you are a retailer, manufacturer or a supplier.  This is our night, as an industry, to stop, take time from our busy schedules and to give recognition to our most accomplished leaders.€

Industry Fellows who will be recognized for their exceptional leadership, accomplishments and contributions to the furniture industry are Howard G. Haas, Jena Hall, Clement M. Lange Jr., Kevin M. O€™Connor, Melvyn L. Wolff and Thomas E. Wright. Inductees into the Hall of Fame also will be announced at the banquet.

The new slate of Industry Fellows was selected based on their contributions to the growth and development of the furniture industry in America. Each represents the highest standards of enduring excellence, superior accomplishments, innovation and creativity, and philanthropic generosity.

The deadline for reservations is Sept. 28. Tickets are $125 each and can now be purchased online. Reservations may also be made by e-mail or by contacting the Foundation office at 336.882.5900. Checks should be mailed to the American Furniture Hall of Fame Foundation, 202 Neal Place, High Point, N.C. 27262.
