Home furnishings online retailer One Kings Lane's recent three-day flash sale raised $36,000 to support Gift for Life.
Gift for Life is the gift, stationery and home decor industries' leading charitable organization.
The sale offered curated items from the New York International Gift Fair and One Kings Lane vendors as an extension of NYIGFs Open House trend and product display--a collaboration with One Kings Lane, Pantone and Sandow Media. The display showcased products reflective of five home design trends, ranging from nostalgic American motifs to modern print statements, with their corresponding colorways.
The three-day online sale, which featured on-trend merchandise from approximately 20 leading suppliers, included products from: Airedlesur, Apadana, Art & Cuisine, Authentic Models, Barraveld/dk living, French Laundry, Izola, Jamie Young, Jayes, Mary Jurek, Meirco, Picnic at Ascot, Pure Fiber, Romanov, Villa Home, Worlds Away and Wunderley.
We are very pleased with the results of this collaboration, said Susan Feldman, co-founder and chief merchandising officer of One Kings Lane. Providing quality products that benefited an amazing cause was a win-win for customers and for Gift for Life.
A big thanks to One Kings Lane, the participating manufacturers, NYIGF and shoppers around the world for supporting Gift for Life, said Leslie Nathan-Street, chair of the Gift for Life board.
Each year, Gift for Life hosts events throughout the U.S. benefitting Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS.
