Urban Essentials Grows in DC

Contemporary home furnishings and design retailer Urban Essentials has relocated and expanded its Washington, D.C., store.
After 12 years on U Street, Urban Essentials, which specializes in small-scale furniture and urban lifestyles, has moved to a larger, 5,700-square-foot space at 1401 14th St. NW. On Thursday, September 13, 5-10 p.m., the home furnishings retailer will celebrate its new location and expanded showroom during a special grand opening event. Wine and hors doeuvres will be provided throughout the evening.
The larger showroom space provides Urban Essentials the opportunity to expand on current brands and the ability to show and sell entire furniture lines. American Leather, Bontempi, Elite Leather, Curvet USA, DIA, BDI, Outer Limits, Tempurpedic and Rowe Furniture are several of the more than 40 popular brands that Urban Essentials features.
