Tim McGee has resigned his position as the top executive for Chicago-based Merchandise Mart Properties Inc.'s High Point showroom operation, the Winston-Salem Journal reported Wednesday.

Karen Olson, vice president of High Point marketing MMPI, said in the report that McGee left earlier in December to pursue other opportunities, and that the existing management team has assumed his duties.

MMPI is High Point's second-largest owner and manager of showroom properties.
