N.C. Holds Line on Funding for Furniture Market

The N.C. General Assembly appears to have held steady on funding for the High Point Market in the $20.2 billion state budget approved last week, though not increasing support back to levels before the impact of the Great Recession.
Advocates for the furniture market were trying to drill down into the massive budget document Thursday afternoon to detail the appropriations for the worlds largest home furnishings trade show. But it appears that total market funding remains at about $1.6 million.
