Howard Miller Consolidates 3 Brands for Sales, Marketing

The Howard Miller family of companies-Howard Miller, Hekman and Ridgeway-will consolidate sales and marketing efforts to better support its dealers and maximize growth opportunities.
The reorganization will include the hiring of an additional director of product design to develop product with the specific focus of broadening Hekman's product offerings in mid- and upper-price points.
In addition, dedicated sales and marketing representatives will manage all companies. All brands will remain distinctive in the marketplace with comprehensive advertising, promotions, in-store point-of-purchase materials, and sales support materials.
"Howard Miller, Hekman, and Ridgeway are recognized brand names with over 90 years of history in the furniture industry," said Howard "Buzz" Miller, chief executive officer. "This strategy will build upon each brand's heritage, while allowing each company to benefit from the synergies of a coordinated sales and marketing effort to deliver better value, products, and service to our dealers."
