Art Van Furniture opened its sixth freestanding PureSleep store earlier this week in New Hudson, Mich.

"People are really starting to appreciate what good mattresses do for them," said David Van Elslander, vice president of Art Van PureSleep. "We love being able to inform our guests about the importance of a good night's rest, and to provide them with the products they need to achieve that."

Art Van PureSleep takes the guesswork out of finding the right mattress with a computer diagnostic machine that matches each person to the right mattress. In addition to the 1-2-3 bedding process, Art Van PureSleep experts stress the importance of proper pillows for correct spinal alignment, as well as a good mattress protector to safeguard the investment.

Art Van has invested more than $6 million in training nearly 1,000 employees and opening 38 Art Van PureSleep stores. Art Van PureSleep is in all 34 Art Van Furniture showrooms with freestanding stores in Ann Arbor, Canton, Troy, Rochester Hills, and Brighton.
