Treasures Furniture, a California-based furniture retailer, has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, owing its largest creditors in the industry about $2.1 million and plans to close its San Diego store.
The company has filed for protection in the Southern District of California, listing assets and debts both in the $1 million to $10 million range.
