AMC Liquidators will sponsor the 13th Annual Rebuilding Together Day by providing home furnishings to families in need.
AMC is a furniture liquidator and furniture restoration specialist with retail locations in Tamarac and East Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
With 230 affiliates, Rebuilding Together is Americas largest volunteer-based organization focused on revitalizing low-income houses and communities across America. Since 1988, more than 3 million volunteers have invested time and skills to rehabilitate more than 100,000 houses and non-profit facilities. Its mission: Bringing volunteers and communities together to improve the homes and lives of low-income homeowners.
We are thrilled to have AMC Furniture Outlet involved as our title sponsor, said Sandra Veszi Einhorn, executive director, Rebuilding Together Broward County. "AMC is providing each family with furniture and accessories that allow them to make their house a home which is invaluable to not only the individual families but also our community."
Each family has the opportunity to visit the retail location and pick out exactly what they want. AMC will deliver the furniture to each home and family on April 28, which marks the 13th anniversary of the Annual Rebuilding America Together Day taking place in Hallandale, Fla.
Getting involved with Rebuilding Together Broward County was a natural for AMC Furniture Outlet, said Mike Grimme, CEO and Founder of AMC Liquidators, the parent company of AMC Furniture Outlet. "We know what a difference the right furnishings make in any environment so being able to donate these important items to families in need is very special to us. We are grateful for projects like the Annual Rebuilding Together Day that create these type of opportunities and are honored to be involved along with so many other community minded organizations."
