Tip-over accidents cause one death every two weeks, according to an 10-year study by the Consumer Product Safety Commision.
The furniture industry wants retailers and consumers to understand the risks of television and furniture tip-over and know how to prevent it. Safety was the theme at Saturday mornings press breakfast, officially ushering in the 2012 spring High Point Market, which began Saturday.
