Next Generation-NOW Hosts Market Reception

Next Generation-NOW will host its "Chatter Over Cocktails" reception on Sunday, April 22, at High Point Furniture Market.

The cocktail reception runs 5-6 p.m. in Café Blossom in the Fairmont Designs showroom IHFC-C867, and will feature "Speed Networking" during the first 20 minutes. A hit during the January Las Vegas Market, speed networking will give attendees a chance to meet and talk to new faces. Afterward, attendees continue to mingle and share stories over cocktails and hors d'oeuvres.

"Speed networking is a great way to socialize and meet people you don't know. During our first speed networking event, I was able to chat with people that I wouldn't have normally gravitated to," said Next Generation-NOW committee chair, Nick Gates, Gates Furniture. "Also, it's great to chat with people who have a common technology understanding--you don't have to explain Facebook and Twitter to fellow Next Generation-NOW members. They get it already. The Next Generation-NOW Chatter over Cocktails is being hosted by Fairmont Designs, FurnitureDealer.net and the Western Home Furnishings Association.
