Furniture Store Donates $10k Bedroom to Habitat

A furniture store has made a major donation to Habitat for Humanity. Scan Design donated a $10,000 bedroom set to the Habitat ReStore in Fort Lauderdale. The contemporary furniture store is also donating 100 percent of the proceeds from its annual charity art event to support Habitat-built homes in South Florida

"Scan Design selected Habitat for Humanity to be the recipient of a charitable evening, and this is one of the donations, one of the many that Scan Design has given to Habitat," said Nancy Daly of the Habitat ReStore.
