Authority Revives Commemorative Market Poster

The High Point Market Authority has revived the tradition of a commemorative poster, available in limited quantities at the upcoming High Point Furniture Market.

The Discovery poster's design showcases hundreds of photos that depict the High Point Market's breadth of product, the tens of thousands of buyers who attend Market, and the social media and press coverage about the show itself.

"For many years in the past, the Market produced commemorative posters," said Tom Conley, president and CEO of the Market Authority. "We're reviving the idea, but with a more updated look--more like the artwork you would see on a concert poster. It's a fun way to highlight everything that can be discovered at the High Point Market, namely an amazing array of product, exhibitors, education, events, and excitement.""

The limited-edition Discovery poster will be presented first-come-first-served at the Info Booths in High Point, and in the Media Center, which is located in the High Point Theatre.

"We've already had a lot of interest in the poster," Conley said. "The High Point Market is a unique event, unlike any other. People recognize that and love the idea of having a keepsake that captures their experience here."

The Market Authority will produce a new commemorative poster each April and October.
