Gallery Furniture fire suspect ruled mentally incompetent

The Houston Chronicle reports that , 69, will remain in hospital until he is competent to stand trial. Gillham's attorney said his client has a non-malignant brain tumor that is seriously affecting his motor skills, as well as his speech and hearing. "He's got a growth between his brain and his skull that's pushing down into his brain that's causing significant cognitive defects," Gillham's attorney told the court. Attorney Brett Podolsky
