Rustic furnishings vendor AntlerWorx is moving to a new showroom in
Showplace, for the April 21-26
High Point Furniture Market.
The White Oak, Texas-based company, which had been showing in a temporary space in High Point for several years, will use the new 905-square-foot space, Showplace 3424, to showcase a sampling of its most popular furniture and accent items, said Shaun Baker, owner.
The company's line features a wide selection of antler-accented furniture, including dining and occasional tables, beds and dressers, hall trees and chairs. The choice of antlers includes elk, moose, mule, whitetail and fallow horns.
"High Point has always been a very successful market for us," said Baker. "We expect this new showroom will attract a number of retailers we haven't seen before."
AntlerWorx sells its furnishings through a mix of rustic home furnishings specialists, high-end furniture stores and designers.
"We have picked up a lot of new business during this tough economy," Baker said. "We nearly doubled our sales last year and we expect more of the same in 2012."
This market, AntlerWorx will be expanding its upholstery offerings with a new transitional line. The pieces, which include side chairs and arm chairs, combine aspen wood in a new washed finish with leather and elk antler accents.
Other products in the company's line include rustic lighting, accessories, mirrors and signs.
